ha Tin Racecourse's New Multi-level Car Park P1 – A Brand New Arrival and Parking Experience (issued Thursday, 24 November)
The Club’s world-class Racecourse facilities are considered the benchmark for the industry. Over the years, we have been making substantial investments to enhance our Racecourses, with developments such as the all-weather Parade Ring at Sha Tin Racecourse and the continuous refurbishments of Members-only dining venues.
The Club is pleased to unveil its latest development, the new Multi-level Car Park – P1 at Sha Tin Racecourse, which will further improve the overall race-going experience for Owners and Members, whose loyal support is vital to Hong Kong’s world-class racing scene.
A lot of thought went into its design to resolve long-standing concerns over the inadequate covered parking facilities close to Owners’ Boxes as well as to improve road alignment, traffic flow efficiency and drop-off convenience. This new car park will also improve connectivity to Owners Boxes via a dedicated covered footbridge and escalators. Other notable features of the new car park include larger turning radiuses, wider spaces for larger vehicles, parking guidance system and availability signs. It has 496 parking spaces, 50 of which are equipped with EV chargers
