RS232 To UDP Converter

The CARIDE converter converts RS232 protocol commands into UDP protocol commands, supporting animation segment selection, animation playback speed, overall brightness adjustment of the fixture, and white balance adjustment of the fixture.

CARIDE converter supports standard RS232 universal protocol.

CARIDE converter supports a 9600 bps baud rate.

CARIDE converter uses standard DB-9 interface.

CARIDE converter converts the RS232 protocol commands into UDP protocol commands to set the parameters of the MANYA series offline master control;

    • 9600: stands for 9600bps 
    • 8: represents 8 bits
    • N: stands for no check
    • 2: represents 2 stop bits

    • Select a program segment:
    • JM.XX.MRKJ. (Where xx stands for program, write 00 to return loop);

  • RS232 protocol instruction- Protocol instructions

    • Set the playback speed:
    • SD.XX.MRKJ. (Adjust the playback frame rate of the main control, XX is 05, 10, 15 ..., 25 or 30 is recommended)

  • RS232 protocol instruction- Protocol instructions:

    • Adjust the luminaire brightness
    • LD.XXX.MRKJ. (Overall brightness adjustment, please note how many X's you need to write, XXX is 000-100);

    • Channel brightness adjustment
